the Bank Reconciliation Section of the Department of Records, Assets and Material makes up the latest bank records of monies on deposit concurrent with the monthly bills summary. This section once each month (concurrent with the monthly bills summary) reconciles all bank statements, tapes all cancelled checks on their counterfoils and in short makes certain there are no bank errors or omissions.
