a staff member who does some action which is above the call of duty of his or her post hat may write an acknowledgement report on himself detailing what it was he did and how it benefited the org. This is sent to Division 1 for filing in his or her personnel file. In reviewing staff for promotion, such self acknowledgements are taken into account in assessing the staff member's responsibility level, along with other data and statistics. (HCO PL 11 Nov 66)
