Definitions
each newspaper develops its own style book. This is a book that lays down the form, grammatical rules, spelling, etc. You find out a newspaper's style by reading it and talking with the Managing Editor. He'll tell you the type of stories (party line) and style the paper wants. (BPL 10 Jan 73R)
