Corporate planning attempts to project what future economic conditions will be, what products will be in demand then and what changes would have to be made over a period of time to meet future demands and conditions. Often corporate planning will result in a company setting up a pilot or research project or even expanding the scope of such, already existing, in order to stay in touch with future demands and conditions and test new ideas.
