Definitions

1. observation is not a passive thing. It is an active thing and involves the closest possible study of what one is observing. One should train himself or herself to react in the following manner: if one is in mystery about something one does not puzzle over it, he or she knows at once that if he is puzzled or in mystery or can't work it out, he or she does not have enough data and the thing to do is get more data.
