Definitions
these are drawn up for use by the maintenance and engineering units and must cover the specific actions necessary to maintain, service and clean all buildings, grounds, equipment, machinery and mechanical systems. Such checklists are for daily or weekly use according to the frequency of the actions they cover. Such checklists cover specific physical areas and each has a particular purpose (e.g., servicing an elevator; cleaning and polishing up a room from top to bottom; structural servicing and upkeep of a room or section of the building maintenance of a lawn; maintenance of a hot water heating system; etc.).
