I want you to recall, now, the most submissive personality that you have ever known. Which is to say, the weakest person you ever knew.

Got them?

If you don't get one easily, just pick one up.

All right. Now take that very, very submissive person and duplicate this person many times. Make other persons like this person, many times. Make lots of them.

Okay. Now throw those away.

Now let's take the most resistive person you can think of at the moment, get a picture of this person and duplicate it many times.

Okay. Throw that all away.

And now let's get a picture of—a mock-up of—the most submissive person that you can now think of, and get many more such mock-ups. Duplicate it many times.

Okay. Let's throw those away.

And now let's think of the most resistive person we can now think of. Get a picture of that person and duplicate it many times.

Okay. Throw those away.

And now let's think of the most submissive person, the weakest person you can now think of, and duplicate this person many times.

Okay. Let's throw those away.

And now let's think of the most resistive person, probably the same one, the most resistive person that you can think of. Get a picture of this person and then get many, many, many such pictures, one after the other.

Okay. Throw those away.

And now let's get the most submissive person and make many duplicates of this person.

Now throw that away.

And get this most resistive person and duplicate that many times. Now let's throw those away.

And get the most submissive person and duplicate this person many times. Okay. Throw those away.

And get the most resistive person you know of and duplicate this person many times. It may be a different person, it's all right.

Okay. Now let's get the idea of protecting this most resistive person from the submissive person.

Now let's get the idea of protecting this most submissive person from this most resistive person.

And now get the idea of protecting this most resistive person from the most submissive person.

And now let's get the idea of both of these people protecting you. Of you protecting them.

Okay. Let's throw away any mock-up which you have there.

And now let's get the greatest certainty you can get about what is wrong with you.

Let's get more certain than that about it.

Now let's find the same thing wrong with the upper right-hand corner, front of the room.

The upper left-hand corner, front of the room.

Find the same thing wrong with the space in the middle of the room.

Now find the same thing wrong with the most resistive person you had before. Just arbitrarily say so.

Now find the same thing wrong with the most submissive person that you had before. Just arbitrarily say so.

All right. Now, you may, before, not have been too certain that this was what is wrong. This time let's get real certain about something wrong with you. Real certain of this wrongness.

Let's get more certain that this is what's wrong.

Oh, let's get certain all over again that this is what's wrong.

Now let's find some new thing wrong with you.

Now let's find what's wrong with you is the fact that you have two heads. Ten arms. Sixteen feet.

Let's—find what's wrong with you is that you breathe. Let's find this out with great certainty, so you've just discovered it.

Now let's find out what's wrong with you is the fact that you wear clothes.

Now let's find out that what's wrong is that you don't wear enough clothes.

Now let's conclude all over again on something that is wrong with you. And get a very positive conclusion, with great finality, so that you can carry it on till the end of time. Get this great finality—something wrong with you.

Now let's change that slightly. Change the conclusion slightly. Now change the conclusion again. And again.

And now let's change this conclusion utterly. All right. Now let's just throw that away.

And let's just dream up something that might possibly be wrong with a turtle and say that's what's wrong with you.

Now let's find something that might be wrong with a piece of space and say that's what's wrong with you.

Now let's find something very wrong about a boat. Something that might be very wrong about a boat. Now just arbitrarily say, well, at last you know that's what's wrong with you.

Now get something that might be terribly wrong with a horse.

Now say that's what's wrong with you. Now know this with finality and know that this will be wrong now, forever.

Now whinny.

Okay. Find a couple of objects, hold on to them and don't think. Okay. Let go. And find some places where you are not.

Now let's look around your surroundings and find some things that are wrong.

Find some more things that are wrong. Oh, just say they're wrong. That's good enough.

Find some more things that are wrong. Now find some more things that are wrong.

Or just say they're wrong—that's easy. Thing wrong with the sidewalk, it's flat.

Now look around your surroundings some more and find some more things that are wrong, that you're very certain are wrong.

Okay. Now let's find some things in the environment that are right and immediately conclude they're wrong. And find something else that's right and then conclude it's wrong. Then find something else that's right and conclude it's wrong.

Oh, do that some more.

Okay. Now let's look around the surroundings and let's find some things that are wrong and then just arbitrarily conclude they're right.

Item after item, find some things that are wrong and conclude that they're right.

Now you can conclude that they're right, with or without a reason.

Now just look around the surroundings and arbitrarily state that certain things are wrong. And then state that they're right, with the reason.

Okay. Now look around your surroundings and find some places where you're not.

Okay. Now look around your surroundings and pick out objects and say, "That will stop me if I try to do anything," just arbitrarily.

All right. Now let's take a mythical character called "Shad" and let's look around the surroundings and say, "Well, if Shad tries to do anything, that will stop him." Find an object and conclude each time that that object will stop Shad.

Okay. Now let's look around the surroundings and let's get object after object that will stop Papa.

All right. Now look around the surroundings and get that each one of these things will stop Mama.

All right. Now let's look around the surroundings and pick out spaces that because of their vast distance will stop them.

Now let's pick up the most submissive person that you knew and get how each object in the vicinity, no matter how flimsy, will stop this person.

Now let's take the most resistive person that you got earlier and let's get how the resistive person will stop each one of these objects.

Now just look around the surroundings and pick up a number of objects and say, "That object," arbitrarily point out an object, "is protecting that object" (another object) "from being hit with sound." Pair after pair.

Now get these pairs and get that each object is protecting each other object from being hit by a peculiarly destructive energy.

Okay. Mock-up yourself as dead, several times.

Now mock-up the most resistive person as dead, several times.

And now the most submissive person, dead, several times.

And the most resistive person, dead, several times.

And the most submissive person, dead, several times.

Okay. Find a couple of objects and hold on to them and don't think.

Okay. Let go. And find some places you arc not.

Okay. Now let's get the idea, or be on top of, but let's get the idea of being on top of a mountain, protecting it from everything.

Now let's get some intricate protection systems going here. Protecting this mountain from everything.

Now let's get the idea of being on top of this mountain and protecting it from sound.

Now protecting it from light.

Now protecting it from your own violence.

Do the last again. Get the idea very heavily, now, of protecting this mountain from your own violence.

Let's do that some more. Let's protect this mountain from your own violence. Let's do that some more.

Okay. Now let's get the idea of protecting this mountain from Father. From Mother. From armed groups.

All right. Let's get the idea of protecting a piece of paper.

Okay. Let's throw that away. And get some places where you're not.

Some more places where you're not.

Now let's imagine a large number of places not to be in, so that you can find yourself not to be in these.

Let's imagine another large number of places, one after the other, and get how we're not in these.

Now let's imagine a large number of difficulties, so that we're not in these. Okay. Now let's get some more places where we're not.

Now let's get some more places where we're not, and get it with great certainty now. Some more places where we're not.

Okay. Now, we might have had during this process, the last few days, a violent reaction of one kind or another. A sudden surprising occurrence. Let's put it out in front and duplicate it many times. Put it out there and then get many more like it, one after another.

Okay, Now throw those away.

We might have had another surprising occurrence. Let's put that out there and duplicate it many times. Or duplicate the first one again.

Okay. Throw those away.

And we might have had another sudden occurrence happen to us. Let's put it out there and duplicate that many times.

Okay. Throw that away.

Now let's recall something that's really real.

Some more things that are quite real.

Okay. Now let's just sit there and concentrate on being nothing. Just be nothing, as well as you possibly can be.

Let's be nothing some more.

Let's be nothing some more.

Okay. Let's find some places where you're not.

Now let's be nothing some more.

And, now, let's be nothing sitting there observing something. Now let's be nothing observing something. Okay. Let's find some places where you're not.

Okay. Now let's be something unconscious. Let's be something unconscious and look around and resent all the things that are conscious.

Now let's resent all the things that are in motion. Be motionless and unconscious.

Now let's be something in motion, something specific that is in motion, and look disdainfully upon things that are unconscious.

Now let's be unaware, relatively unaware, more or less unconscious, and regard critically things that are conscious.

All right. Now let's be something in motion and critically regard things that are still and unconscious.

Now let's be unconscious and enjoy things being in motion around us.

Okay. Now let's be highly conscious and in motion, and enjoy the fact that unconscious things are around.

Now let's check over the environment and put unconsciousness into many objects and spaces in the environment.

Okay. Now, let's put enjoyment into these same objects.

Okay. Find some places where you are not.

Now let's mock-up various objects in the environment reassuring you.

More of them, object after object, reassuring you, giving you hope, telling you it'll be all right.

Now let's have a great many spaces do that, one after the other, reassure you.

Let's take a lot more of them, have them one after the other reassure you.

Now let's get them by pairs and have each pair, have one of them reassure the other one. Objects by pairs. A mountain reassuring a house that it will be all right and so forth.

Let's do that a lot more now, pair after pair. Have one of them reassure the other one, everything will be all right.

Let's do that a lot more, pair by pair, one of the pair each time assuring the other that everything will be all right.

Okay. Now put up a picture to remind you that everything is wrong. Put up any picture so that it will remind you of what's wrong. And then another picture to remind you of what's wrong, and another picture to remind you of what's wrong.

Just any picture.

Can't get a picture, get what you got and have that remind you of what's wrong.

Let's do that some more. Something to remind you of what's wrong.

Now, any chronic somatic which you get routinely in processing, put it up to remind you what's wrong. Put it up many times, each time to remind you what's wrong.

Now put up this chronic somatic each time, this pain or pressure, whatever it is, or unconsciousness, to remind you to do something about it.

Okay. Let's hold on to a couple of objects, sit there and don't think.

Okay. Let go. And find some places where you are not. Find the floor beneath your feet. End of session.
