Definitions

1. it means nothing more than being able to look outward. A person who is capable of looking at the world around him and seeing it quite real and quite bright is of course in a state of extroversion. He can look out, in other words. He can also work. He can also see situations and handle and control those things which he has to handle and control, and can stand by and watch those things which he does not have to control and be interested in them therefore. 3. extroversion means nothing more than being able to look outward. An extroverted personality is one who is capable of looking around the environment. A person who is capable of looking at the world around him and seeing it quite real and quite bright is, of course, in a state of extroversion. (HCOB 23 Jan 74RA)

4. the preclear ceasing to put his attention on his mind, but putting his attention on the environment. We see this happen often in the Opening Procedure of 8-C where the preclear has the room suddenly become bright to him. He has extroverted his attention.
