(Sea Organization) each division has a Divisional Conference. It is held by the divisional officer and is attended by all persons in the division, officers, petty officers and hands. Conferences are called to advise and inform and to ask for advice and information. A crew cannot function in the absence of data, plans and intentions. (FO 1021)
