section of Dept 21 in the Office of LRH FSO under the administrative care of the LRH Comm FSO. The early org board of the SO had this function in its Div 2 under the supervision of the Supercargo. The purpose of the Flag Design and Planning Section is threefold: to coordinate all designing and planning and executions thereof which change or extend Flag's spaces and materiel; to help the Commodore increase and maintain the profitable and viable utilization of Flag's spaces and materiel; to help the Commodore viably enhance and maintain the internal and external appearance of the flagship.
