Definitions
1. a Court of Ethics may be convened by any Ethics Officer. Any Scientologist of the status of officer or below may be summoned before a Court of Ethics. The summons is issued as an HCO Ethics Order. It must state when and where the person is to appear. (HCO PL 26 May 65 III)
2. a Court of Ethics or Executive Court of Ethics is not a fact finding court. One is convened solely on statistics and known evidence. (HCO PL 26 May 65 III)
3. a form of ethics hearings based on known data and convened on misdemeanors or crimes and authorized to direct discipline such as suspension from training or processing, payment of damages, restitution of wrongs, etc. (BTB 12 Apr 72R)
