Definitions
an organization with an inflexible organizational structure where employment positions and departments, branches, etc., are clearly delineated as to duties, responsibilities and authorities. In a formal organization there is a great emphasis on maintaining the structure or form of the organization as that is how it is designed to run. A formal organization structure is essential for any organization to operate and expand beyond only a handful of employees.
