Definitions

a rotating of a person from one job to another to give him familiarity with a group of jobs in order to boost that person up to a supervisory or management level over that group of jobs, to improve individual efficiency and understanding, or to relieve the monotony that so often accompanies assembly line type jobs and increase job interest.
