a hatted Scientologist has been redefined as a Scientologist who can produce the four products of a Scientologist (purchased books, disseminated knowledge, environmental control, a cleared planet). The Director of Clearing hats Scientologists by drilling and mini-courses and will use whatever training tool is to hand needed to get a person able to produce the four products.
