Definitions

(Level IV style) by direct we mean straight, concentrated, intense, applied in a direct manner. By direct, we don't mean frank or choppy. On the contrary, we put the pc's attention on his bank and anything we do is calculated only to make that attention more direct. (HCOB 6 Nov 64)
