an analysis and recommendation by a qualified and impartial person, such as an outside management consultant, of the quality of management in a business. It looks at how efficiently the current management handles finances, personnel, personnel training, production, sales, planning, organization, etc. In analyzing this it usually gets around to looking at the management personnel as well. The resulting recommendation shows the current picture and recommends an appropriate handling to increase the efficiency of management.
