Definitions
(Level III style) by abridged is meant "abbreviated," shorn of extras. Any not actually needful auditing command is deleted. In this style we have shifted from pure rote to a sensible use or omission as needful. We still use repetitive commands expertly, but we don't use rote that is unnecessary to the situation.
