persons transferred to the [[MISSIONAIRE_UNIT|Missionaire Unit]] who have not [[COMPLETED|completed]] [[MISSION_SCHOOL|mission school]] or do not have [[OFFICER|officer]] [[RANK|rank]] are entitled [[APPRENTICE|apprentice]] missionaires. The duties performed by the apprentice are the same as those of any other [[MISSIONAIRE|missionaire]] but he may not be an I/[[C_OF|C of]] a [[MISSION|mission]]. If he remains in the [[UNIT|unit]] after completing courses, the "apprentice" is removed from his name should he now also be an experienced and competent missionaire.
