Depending on the collectibility of these accounts receivable, they may be acceptable as [[COLLATERAL|collateral]] for a [[LOAN|loan]] or sold outright to a commercial [[FACTOR|factor]] for a percentage of their [[VALUE|value]] giving the commercial factor the [[AUTHORITY|authority]] to collect and retain the debts thus collected.
